A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, the force said.
These detentions follow a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.
A three-year-old girl was one of the those hurt in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and have since been released.
Officers arrested a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault near the location. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.
Authorities were alerted at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals hurt by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.
The attack - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not considered terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
